Title: Integrated development environment for OS4 SDK
Post by: Dietmar on April 25, 2005, 07:53:05 PM
GoldED's C/C++ components have been updated for the OS4 SDK, giving AmigaOS4 developers a comfortable, integrated development environment.

Features include syntax highlighting for the OS4 API, compiler integration with gcc and vbcc, a dialog to set compiler options with mouse clicks, makefile generation, context-sensitive help for the OS4 API, clickable compiler errors, quick access to the SDK's autodoc documentation and more. The OS4 SDK is included, courtesy of Hyperion Entertainment VOF (http://www.hyperion-entertainment.biz/), giving all developers the opportunity to cross-compile their software for OS4 with vbcc.

There's something drastically wrong with the installation scripts.
They are NOT detecting the fact that ARexxMast is running on my
AmigaOne PowerPC under AmigaOS4 & will not completely
install the program (at least, not for me).

Good thinking to post that on a forum instead of contacting the developer. Developers shouldn't be bothered with bug reports. They need their time to drink beer and watch The Simpsons. Anyway, I'm not aware of something drastically wrong with the installation. Many downloads last week, one complaint, can't be so bad.
