Title: Wet 2.0 released
Post by: chris on March 12, 2005, 08:34:50 PM
Wet 2.0 - the Workbench weather program for AmigaOS 4.0 - has been released.

I would like to thank the community for their help and support.  I must say I was overwhelmed with the response to my call for translators.  As at the time of release, seven languages are supported by Wet:
English, Czech, Finnish, Italian, Turkish, Swedish and Greek.  Some of these translations are partially incomplete and will be updated later.  If you want to translate Wet or you pledged your support previously and didn't receive my email, please let me know.

Key new features include the ability to convert to different units, full weather information on the GUI and an installation script.

Where does it get the weather info? Is it preconfigured with servers to get the info from?

@Argo

weather.noaa.gov.
Yes, it is pre-configured.  You can change it but that is a rather experimental feature, so it is best not to.

Is this os4 only or is there also an amiga version?
