Title: HellChess v1.1 Amiga

HellChess v1.1 released.

Just before Xmas a test version for HellChess v1.1 was available for download. Now this archieve is updated to a proper version of HellChess.

New in this version are:
Animation play support for 060/PPC amigas
3D screenswap rewritten in assembly
2 extra gamestypes have been added. (Othello and Connect4)
Graphics are redrawn for a winter look
Some chess rules are added we missed in the first release.

Uploaded 3rd of January.

Suppose I'd better polish up on my skills then...  I've only played Chess twice on the PS1 last year and before that it was on the Speccy in the 80's :-o

Played it a few times against real people, but nobody's that interested in a game of tactics like that :-(

The 68k_NOAGA works fine on OS4, is there any sound with the game?

Sound is currently only implemented in the 68K version. I still have to work on AHI support for that. Probably in a newer update were I will add more gametypes aswell such as Checkers, Fox'n'Geese and perhaps others. :)
Although only the animation has sound, maybe I should add some effects when moving pieces orso ?

Maybe you should rename it after that. Something like HellBoardgames or just HellBoard. :-)

Great software, I love these games!
One note : the 640x480 screen cuts the bottom lines of the graphics (last 10-20 pixel lines) a 800x600 promoted screen works fine.
