Rita the singer is an application able to make back-ups of your hd partitions.

Can make multiple partitions backup using the custom queue, rita the singer is able to format drives in quick and normal modes, convert cdda to aiff, 8svx, wav MP3 or MAUD files, rita the singer is able of convert multiple aiff files in the custom queue and convert all the files to mp3 format when you sleeps she can make the job for you :), why you don't test rita the singer? alot of features more with the plugin, this will be availible soon, this plugin can handle tasks for schedule and tasks for automatization of any kinda of program. apropos backups : what happened to backman (here (http://backman.sourceforge.net)) the announced 68k version still hasn“t appeared.

Looks nice.  But why a backup utility and music file conversion utility in one?  They seem like different tasks.  (Or, am I missing something?)

Well, I don't know if they need to reside as one monolithic app (and I don't know how monolithic this really is, if it's relying on standard libraries), but I can think of one very good reason -- managing transfer/sync of your music collection to a standard CF/SD or USB Mass Storage-based player.

the program is updated, a new version is ready to downloaad, skinable, and now rita SING songs :) enjoy this piece of software :)
