Title: Amiga Expo 2004 Trondheim report and pictures
Post by: nicomen on August 29, 2004, 08:28:52 PM
Our humble meeting turned out to be a huge success, around 100 persons attended. Afer ten years without similar parties in Norway, hopefully this was the boost that the Amiga Scene i Norway needed, topping it off with the announcement about budget MicroA1s, the scene feels vibrant.

Kay Are Ulvestad has written an excellent report on his page.

Erlend Kristiansen has already put up his photos on the web here:

Anyone else notice that there's always an SX-64 at every Amiga show?  It's kinda like the unofficial mascott.

They should have opened a window or two,
coz it was a tad warm and sweatty there.

I found my favourite game,
Total Chaos AGA,
on one of the A1200's,
and so I tried running it,
but there was only 10 meg fastmem available
and it needs 16 for all the awesome gfx. :(

We could have played 8 players on it
and had some insane fun...

The CD32 joypad was very easy to use,
much better arrow control than ie a psx controller.

So, did we meet? Sorry if we didn't I was really stressed after the work, answering questions, trying to show stuff and just navigating thru the crowds ;)

Yes, u seemed so busy all the time,
and I was/am too shy to make contact anyway. :/

But, I did sit next to you,
and we did talk a bit. :)

I considered staying after it ended,
but I also had my car in a parking house,
draining my credit card. :(
