Title: First AmigaOne demo available!

At the Slach Party 5 last weekend the first demo for the AmigaOne ever has been released. It's called Zero by Universe and won the combined compo against various PC demos.

Well, that's neat but the real point of interest is: does it run on AmigaOS 4?

Yes it runs on OS 4, runs here on my CSPPC running OS 4 beta.  I think the author ment to say the first OS4 demo.

not necessarily... its still the first demo written on and for the AmigaOne, and in that context it is the first AmigaOne demo. It just also happens to run on the CSPPC with OS4 ;-)

Very nice demo, also considering that it runs perfectly on the pre-release with picasso 68k :-)

Does it run under MorphOS?  (j/k)  :-P

It would be great if you could convert that .avi to a mpeg..it would be half that size...  I'll download it tonight to check it out!

I cant view this on XP.  Which codec do I need?

Do any media players ever TELL you what codec is used in a movie clip?  Media Player 9 just says "-", if that means anything.  ;-)

Bah, this sux.  I dled media player 9 and 10 and all I get is the music along with the 'error downloading codec' message.

I just need to get an amigaone  :-D
