The Commodore brand is back with a bunch of new MP3 devices. Seems they want in on Apple's IPod scene.
More info Commodore MP3 players (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/06/30/cbm_vs_apple/)

Looks kinda nice but why on earth has Tulip decided to italicise the chickenhead logo? I thought the player looked pwetty cool until I saw a closer shot of the logo. It looks cwappy. :-(
-
yes, it does look a bit.....fUnKy!
BUT at least they (Tulip) are doing SOMETHING!
When will these hit the states, I want one?
-
Tulip do seem to have gone for the Escom Commodore logo rather than the retro C= that we all had on our Amiga's, C64's etc... which is a bit of a shame.
Oh well :-D

I must admit, I was not sure that they would come up with anything that unique.
Looks like quality. Maybe if they sell loads they will revitalise the Commodore brand - it will become a household name again. Commodore will buy - Eyetech, Hyperion and Kmos and re-sell brand new Amiga systems completed by Amiga OS5 and bundled software of Spiderman 6 the Movie and Rainbow Island - The revenge - the first holographically projected 3D game.
Uh oh. Just got a little too excited there. for a minute.

Yeah....
RIGHT!
And we will also have:
1. Honest women
2. Flying Cars
3. PANCAKES!
4. Mil-Spec Amiga 2000's
5. Safe Cigarettes
I can HARDLY wait.
But in the mean time, I'd like one o those MP3 players, PLEASE!!
-
Is it me or did the (British) sarcasm not show through. Anyhow, "Duck". Your right.
I never wanted an MP3 player before. Somehow this one sounds like you can finally do something useful with it. (Store {bleep} loads of songs on it).
About time too.

Hmmm... Let's think different!
What is the profit of all ordinary commodore-64 fans? They have now to pay money for every game, every emulator/whatsoever to whom? To TULIP, who hardly ever made smth for commodore-64 other than buying a trademark of the dead for a long time company.
Nothing to say about thousands of fans who will buy those mp3players and pay extra money to TULIP for nothing...
