Title: Video of AROS presentation at AmiGBG online!
Post by: Tjodden on May 16, 2004, 04:25:25 AM
Finally, after more than a month, the video from the AROS presentation at the AmiGBG 2004 fair is available for download! For those that don't understand Swedish (or who can't hear what's said), subtitles are provided (which is one reason why it took so long to produce the video).

download here (http://www.aros.org/downloads/videos/amigbg_2004/)

Lot's of thanks to Älgtjur Filmproduktion for filming the presentation, Carl Drougge for the editing, and myself for doing the subtitles. ;-) Oh, and ofcourse to the AmiGBG guys for arranging the fair!

Nice! :-D

Of course, I'm already an AROSian so none of it was news to me, but I hope it enlightens some people. :-)

I still don't understand. AROS is an open source AmigaOS clone?

yes.

what interests me is the possible ability to boot from CD. and maybe in the future, boot from some other portable device like a thumbDrive. that means you could potentially carry your Amiga in a pocket and boot from almost any computer around. now, how cool would THAT be???

amoung other things. :-D
plus, it's another way to have amiga. and i'm a big fan of that!
