It is with great pleasure that, in honour of AmiGBG 2004, Tim Ocock announces that Martin Taillefer has kindly permitted his original TurboText 2.0 text editor to be released as freeware.
TurboText is one of the Amiga's best text editors, but has not been available for sale for around 10 years. It's features include:
-Very fast loading and scrolling
-Style Guide compliant
-Highly customisable
-Full ARexx command set with integration with major applications
TurboText will shortly be available from Aminet, but in the meantime you can download it from:

The main TurboText binary file appears to be missing. :-(

No it isn't, run the installer because all the files are archived.

Actually, the installer seems to be broken. It will install and setup the assign, but not actually copy most of the files from the archive. It works if you install it first, and then copy the files manually.
Great program btw. :=)

@KptAmiga
Yes, I had the same problem. Installed by hand &
all is working now. :-)
