I'll try to be there. Just checked the rail fair and it will be £20 apex return... which isnt bad I guess. I've never been so far north for an amiga event before... makes a change from travelling hundreds of miles south :-)
-
Newcastle, that's more like it! :-)
-
wohoooo!!! :-D
I will definetely be there - I live in Newcastle at the moment - I will try to get some photos and post them in the galleries

Why aye man ;-)
North East Amiga User Group. As a rule we meet the last tuesday of every month at the Newcastle arms at 7.30pm.
But we are meeting up this tuesday at 7.30pm at the chillingham arms to sort the show out.
We do have a website - its hosted at my worl, but the powers that be clamped down on access, and didnt tell us mere mortal I.T techs.. its a long winded process to get it back - but one of our number, Redmelons has some space :-)

Hi amigean, I see Bobson has already given you the details - hope you can get along on Tuesday (I assume you know where the Chillingham Arms is?)
For anybody looking for a UK usergroup, there is a nice list at AmigaCentre:

thanx for the info
I'd be glad to attend one of your meetings - if I can find the time that is.
I'm sure a number of people would show interest if you were to advertise the event at the universities...especially since it is taking place in Heaton (with so many students living there)
if you come up with a flier/poster I'd be happy to help spread the word - just p.m. me
I will find time for the OS 4.0 demo though....good work!
-
Newcastle... cool.
Make sure you bolt those A1s to the desk, or the geordies will have them away before you can say "haway the lads"
-
"Make sure you bolt those A1s to the desk"
Yes and bolt the desks to the floor too :-)
Not sure if I can get to this but I will if possible -
looks very interesting .
p.s. does this pub do real ale ?
Can't see it listed in the Good Beer Guide
