Grrrr! It seems once again that Elbox have decided not to send them to me. I must've resubscribed to them 3 or 4 times. Though, funny enough, I never seem to miss any oftheir advertising mails...

Hi Amiboy,

I Bought my Mediator and MMCD Second hand

Gratulations. I did also, and though my board was still inside the two years warranty time in EU ( I also have the original invoice with date), Elbox refused to send any updates.
I can forward you their mail explaining their policy, but keeping it short:

- Warranty time (12 months - in EU 24 months are stated in the law...) starts with date of sell to the dealer, not the end user (as it should be).

- Free updates only for first owners.

- Second hand owners only if still within 12 months after selling to dealer / distributor.

- Afterwards, Elbox may or may not give you anything, depending if you behave as they like you to do.

So, good luck dude. If your board was resting at the dealer for some months, and the shape of your nose does not fit, you may be unlucky. So always live the Elbox way, otherwise...

Michael

A my friend simply write to Elbox for an used Mediator. You must give the serial number of the busboard and your email. Try.

At least if you receive no reply, write to me ikir@iksnet.it and i'll send the drivers to you.

See you.

Guess that this could be illegal (unlicensed software).

I didn't see that you are from e3b, better that you and Elbox speak togheter. E3b never be fiendly with Elbox, so don't expect that they will be friendly with you.

Keeping the legally assured warranty issues does not have anything to do with friendliness.
