Well played Rich. :pint:
If I manage to set up a net connection on my A1 before OS4 arrives, I'll try it. :-P
I had a connection before I dismantled it in favour of my Pegasos but since I set it up again I haven't managed it.
Ironically, since reinstalling MOS1.4, I haven't been able to connect the Pegasos to the net either.

:-?
Why?

Why?
My only means of connecting is a demo of Miami. (Where is AmiTCP?) When I try to install it, it goes so far, then tells me it needs MUI3.8.
For some reason it doesn't seem to see MOS1.4's MUI.
I solved this last time by installing MUI3.8 from an old AFCD but am wary of doing so again as it apparently interferes with the built in MUI.
-
Have you submitted a bug report about this?
-
Hmm, OK, try to edit the install script and simply remove the part that checks for MUI version number! That should do the trick! :-)
-
NICE!
BTW is there a new PPC-Linux binary too?
-
Hi wilse,
At the point of choosing that MUI there is also a GTL selection you can do. Get:
http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/~aminet/comm/tcp/Miami32b-GTL.lha
Unpack it in the same dir that Miami is in and then run the installer again and choose GTL. That should do it.
