On ANN you can read that Genesi and Cloanto agreed to port Personal Paint to MorphOS.
"Genesi and Cloanto announced today that they entered into an agreement to develop a port of Cloanto's Personal Paint for MorphOS. The A in ANN stands for alternative nowadays?
-
Yup .. been that for awhile i believe ...
-
That's good news for me! I love that program, and I don't know what I would do without it! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
-
Wow, good to hear. I cant wait to get my CSPPC card so I can run Morph and give it a try. Should be quite a nice speed up.
-
I wait an Amiga version :-(
-
Huh !? Just buy it! :-) It's been available for the last
(~) 10 years!
-
There was an alternative, but unfortunately Electronic Arts dropped Deluxe Paint from its
lineup. I really wish they would just upgrade it
to work with graphics cards & AmigaOS 3.9 (sigh)

@Acill:
it's on Aminet for a few years now... just search for PPaint. :-)
Only thing missing in this free release is the GIF-Support.
-
The current PPaint doesn't work too well under MOS - I've tried it! :)
This is very welcome news! :)

This is a great news for MorphOS users! A native PPC version of Personal Paint is a very good thing. Anyway i hope there will be also a OS4 version so i can try it on PPC hardware.

AMIGA NETWORK NEWS is now officially Alternate Network News :D
-
Or maybe it just caters to the Amiga community and not a brand, eh?
