Title: Final version of A/NES CGFX released
Post by: Fredrik on December 12, 2003, 08:58:00 AM
The author of A/NES CGFX has decided to cease further development and is realising a final version today.

A/NES CGFX is a NES-emulator for 680x0 based Amiga-systems. It emulates the basics of a Nintendo Entertainment System (8-bit), and does it pretty well. Full speed emulation is not unusual even on slower Amigas. Except AmigaOS, it requires a 68020 processor or better, some Fast-mem and CyberGraphX v3+ (And yes, it even runs on P96).

Ceasing development? Shame :-( I don't think I ever got this running properly on my old A3k, but that may have been before the most recent P96 fixes. Oh well, thanks for the final version and all the work over the years:-)

That was a cool program, one of my favorite Amiga programs.

It wasn't the most compatable, but it was great to have around.

It'l be sad to see it go
