I have ported Amiga 68020 ixemul unoptimised rpm4.0, this is a full port *EXCEPT* no database support, it is standalone in that you can just decompress it, run the start up script and immediately extract archives from xyz.rpm files
Visit http://www.whoosh777.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/rpm.html (http://www.whoosh777.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/rpm.html) to download the program.
On the internet a lot of useful material is in xyz.rpm files,
the rpm on www.aminet.net is version 2.2.9 which will not
process more recent xyz.rpm files. The alpha version of
rpm4.0 on Geekgadgets doesnt function,
so out of necessity I have had to port rpm,
database support requires threads and mutexes eg via -libpthread.a
which isnt currently available for Amiga 68k gcc, thus
database support has been disconnected
-
The only reason I can think of this being at all useful is for accessing the small amount of source RPMs for further porting,
Other than that, most useless port ever.
