Title: Debian Installer beta1 released
Post by: System on November 11, 2003, 10:19:12 AM
Debian Installer beta1 (http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/News/2003/2) has been released for i386 and PPC.  Only Mac, PReP, CHRP and Pegasos support for PPC atm, but I'm sure someone will submit patches for the A1 boards soon.

takemehomegrandma, you shouldn't make a big issue of a few  mis-spellings of Pegasos.   ;-)

@BBRV

How about convincing Yellowtab to port Zeta to Pegasos? Pretty please with cherries on top! :-D

Yellow Tab doesn't have the BeOS kernel sources, IIRC, which would be necessary for a port. I've read conflicting statements about whether Zeta will switch to OpenBeOS's NewOS kernel. If it does, then Zeta for Pegasos will be possible, because the OpenBeOS Pegasos port is under way and close to booting now.
