Title: Pegasos II specs on IBM website

IBM have a full specs list for the forthcoming Pegasos 2 on their site. The site doesn't allow direct linking, so follow these instructions to see it for yourself:

Click here (http://www.developer.ibm.com/solutions/isv/igssg.nsf/searchgui).

Enter Pegasos in the search gadget and click Start Search.

On the page that comes up, click on Functional Description 2/3rds down the page.

For those lazy or who don't need the proof, here are the specs:

Pegasos II Specifications:

MicroATX motherboard

Marvell Discovery II System Controller (MV64361)

VIA peripheral controller (VT8231)

CPU on daughter card Supports PowerPC CPUs from  IBM and Motorola

DDR RAM PC 2100 / DDR266

2X Ethernet ports (1x1Gbit and 1x10/100Mb)

3 X Firewire

USB 1.1

2 X ATA 100

AC97 Audio (Line In / Line Out / Headphone Out) SPDIF Out

AGP x1 port

quite interesting to see how fully legit news submissions got removed from ANN, too. Some was inflammatory, others weren't. I'm actually a bit pissed off about that right now. Hope they'll come up with a good explanation for erasing around 5 news submissions in a row..

Yes, noticed. Christian says it must have been one of the other moderators' doings.. still can't think of WHY though.

I've seen one previous news post, which contained a bogus URL, and came from anonymous living in mailto:

Dunno about the rest though.

Anyone knows when it's going to hit the market this baby? before X-mas or after? (Can someone plz remind me its price)

I hope AmigaOS 4.0 is released soon also for pegasos II when they are both ready.

The specified release date for Pegasos-2 was quoted as September. It could be only a week or two away.

Oct 15th.

Last I heard it was: 299$ for the G3, 499$ for the G4.
