I hereby offer a $1 bounty to anyone who catches a person who writes "virii" and puts him in correctional detention. :P

(It's "viruses", or "virions" if you're talking about several virus units. There is nothing called "virii" in any language. )

Is there a chance to earn those 2 x $250k if I turn in the authors of MS Lookout and IIS? :) Let's attack the roots here.

They're both computer companies.
They both attracted a lot of customers away from AmigaOS.
They both produce hardware as well as software.
The both have the letter S in their names somewhere.
They both have desktop Operating Systems available right now?

I'll probably think of some more later  :-)

That guy, Mikko Hypponen, is that the same guy who wrote Amiga anti-virus software, back in '90.? I can't remember the name of that software, but there was a bounty, $1000 reward for any information which will lead to arrest any virus coder, and also there was big icon, I think mouse was pixeled in it.
I found very strange that CNN is calling a virus as a "computer bug"???? Weird...

:roflmao:
They should have a $250.000  reward for people who reports securityholes to them instead.
But then of course they would soon be bancrupt.
The problem isn´t really that there is security holes in Windows it´s that Micro$oft denies that up to that point  a  MSBlast gets out.

Maybe a combination of ignorance and having heard it referred to as a worm at some point. You'd think a big company like CNN would have a tech guy who'd call them on it though. Still what do they care, as long as they're scaring the living #### out of everyone...

So, any possibility of a "Mutiny from MS-dependance Bounty" instead?  Anyone?
