On MorphOS-news.de, Genesi announced today that four patents owned by Raquel Velasco will be included in Genesi intellectual property portfolio.

As strange as it might seem it was actually Bill McEwen that was talking to us at the time. We also spoke with Jim Collas about the patents then too.

I will, I do try to live in a Gnu, "Free" (as in speech and beer) world when it comes to my computer.
One can just hope that those who "leverage" these patents aren't total arse-monkeys about it.

...hi DethKnight, remember we are not talking about a "computer." It might be a computer on the inside, but on the outside it is a STB that hooks up to the television set like a TiVo, or a Digital Satellite Television receiver, or a GameCube...;-) Something like that. Maybe something better and new! Having the Pegasos rock-steady and ready is just step #1.
