I never was a fan of DM2 , always preferred dopus 4.x and later on dopus mag2 over anything else, but i will try this new beta and check it out.

I used to use DiskMaster back in the days but when DOpus came in 5.1 I had to give it up...

I'll try it out though...

Any chances of this being ported to AROS? Native GCC for AROS should be finished in the next couple of months (or sooner).

I've was a big fan of it in the past when I was a floppy only user on my A1000. I like this new version. I never jumped on the Dopus 5 train. This is a great alternative to Dopus 4 if you are using that.

An AROS version is possible, currently I am compiling with SAS-C, GCC 2.95.3 for 68k, GCC 2.95.3 for OS4 PPC and VBCC for OS4.

Only problem is that I would either need a cross-compiler or a working AROS setup...

It`s nice to see DM2 is still being worked on, I`ve been using it since Amiga Format put it on a coverdisk in the dim and distant past.
If you want a small and easy to use filemanager it can`t be beaten.
  Thanks Rudolph.

Do you have access to an x86 machine with an x86-elf gcc compiler installed? If so, just download the SDK from the AROS site's download section (http://www.aros.org/download.php) and execute the installation script you find in it.

If instead you don't have access to such machine, but, for example, you work under AmigaOS, then you should first install a crosscompiler for any x86-elf target (i686-pc-linux-gnu would be ok, for instance). If you can't find binaries around, you can always try to build it yourself from the sources.

If it's all too much hassle for you, then I'm afraid you'll have to wait for me to finish my work on gcc.

I always liked it. I still use it on my Amiga. I just wish I'd had access to the source when I was really into the Amiga.
