Source code to Homeworld released. Not GPL, but open source. Could be interesting to see a MorphOS, AROS, & AOS4 port!

Plus it has decent OpenGL support.
I suppose you still need the original CD for the artwork/levels... never mind...

Now we only have to wait until someone ports it to linux and adds SDL stuff etc...

sure sdl will make it better but that is normally done by people on the linux side aint it? ..
doesnt linux have this game allready? ...hmmz maybe i missed something..
i hope this game gets ported indeed...looks quite intresting though its not my kinda game..

As a rule I don't play games. At all. Not even a little bit. The last game I played to finish was Homeworld :-) Kept me busy for hours - a 3D strategy game.
I've seen the demo of HW2, looks impressive too. I've got less and less time for games these days though :-(

I just got Homeworld 2 in the mailbox today. A nice surprise. Haven't tried it out yet though. :-)
