A new Web Interface is available for AmiNET. It sports a professional search engine, sorting by directory, file length, age, a database refreshed in every hour and much much more. Many thanks to those fanatic hungarian Amiga users behind it!
Find out more at aminet.info (http://aminet.info)

i like the fact that a window pops up when you want to see the readme file. but it does seem to be slower. (i'm on a 56k modem)
-
Looks good and works well. :-)

I do like that the readme get it's own window and you can sort the listings but as long as they don't give me an option to list all files on one page, get a decent sized font and organize things better (for instance when I select recent I'd expect it's listing to come at the top of the page) I'll stick with the old and proven one. :-D
-
hmm... i don“t like it :-( the old one was easier to use.
luck that there are things like amitrade center :-)
-
I quite like the interface at http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/pub/aminet/ at the moment.
I also disliked displaying only 10 recent uploads at a time. And the font was a bit too small for my liking.

Most modern web browsers will let you alter the font size on the fly (for example, with MSIE it's holding down CTRL and using the mouse wheel). Look at the docs for the browser you're using, I'd be surprised if you couldn't do it.

It works good, better than ever but i think it needs some GFX work...
Too simple for today.
Oh, and something else. When you customize a page for a specific language you must add at least ENGLISH. I know that GREEK suport is a dream but english is more than required. :-D

or did i miss something?? is it supposed to look like this? , i doubt it...
i use ib2.3 ..
getting sick of amiga communtiy goin over to NON amiga browsers .. maybe its about time amiga.org moved onto new standards so it would be useless for amiga people to use? .... or maybe that aminet site is supposed to look like i does.. i dunno...

Sorry to disappoint you, it supposed to look like that. The author uses his Amiga to make his developments AFAIK.
Not that it's that beautiful, but at least... it's Amiga :-)

I don't like it at all. The interface used at us.aminet.net is 100% better (not sure if all the mirrors use this interface or not, it's much better than the original)

YUK! IE is horrible.
with Opera you can zoom up or down any page. much easier and nicer to do.

I found it a very valuable effort indeed, my old aminet dawnting for the recent files days are finally over!
Good and logical way to represent things, but then we can't please everyone now can we, how lucky I am just to like it! ;-)

Hmm...CSS Are there any amiga browsers that support CSS?
