Title: The Crypt issue 31 is now out.
Post by: Zola on September 07, 2003, 11:40:56 AM
 What can an Amiga still do? Check out our "Rocket Scientist" Article.

Check out our reports on BareED, a New Amiga Text Editor with a surprising feature.  Sort out all your time troubles with your battery backed clock by using TimeSwipe or Facts.  Would you like to know exactly what size that Drawer in your partition is, Easy with Drawersize.  Are you still using AGA and Workbench 3+, Then We have a real treat for you, Get your self SystemPatch and see the increase in speed  (Certainly when loading Web graphics).

This and a lot more in the current issue "The Gumslingers (http://www.thecryptmag.com)"

I'll copy and paste exactly what I wrote on amigaworld.net (just to irritate anybody keeping tabs on both sites).

Also of note is the interview with Gerd Frank (current maintainer of OctaMED Soundstudio). The Rocket Scientist/other articles are in the "Featured Links" section, in case anybody is still looking for them :-)

Thanks for the Facts article Ian :pint:

Uhm, BareED isn't new by any means? :-)  It saved my hide with MorphOS 1.3 a while back (thank goodness for aminet cd's eh?)

Anyway, I guess I could cross post this news on MorphZone. :-D

@AxE

Among other things it replaces both BlazeWCP
and FText, so they are no longer needed.
Works great here, really a nice program.
If you have any problems try the "NO LAYERS" tag
(fixed the only little niggle it had with
PPaint).

Wow, this is the most eclectic magazine I have ever seen. Going for that elusive Amiga/Wild West demographic! ;-)
