Amiga Inc had announced that AmigaOS 4.0 will be demonstrated at AmiWest 2003 in Sacramento (July 26 - 27, 2003).
The new Operating System will run natively on top of Cyberstorm PowerPC accelerator inside Amiga 4000.

"The new Operating System will run natively on top of Cyberstorm PowerPC accelerator inside Amiga 4000."
Hey who said their out of finances, they're making an OS just for the old A4000 and old PPC cards for it!!!
P.S. Yeah, sarcasm :-D The description is not correct.
:-D

I think Amiga.inc should pull their finger out in getting OS4 on to the market, it's taken ages for them to get OS4 to the stage it's now at and it's been almost finished now for the last six months with still no relese date, people are bound to loose faith. :-(

;-) Actually, sir, the description is exactly correct. What we saw demonstrated was AmigaOS 4, running %100 on PPC. Portions of the OS were still coded in 68k, but they were running on the JIT emulator, which was running on the PPC.
:-P When it is done, Amiga OS 4.0 will knock your sarcastic socks off!
