After 8 years dedicated to serving the Amiga community, Amiga.org's own Wayne Hunt announces his intentions to step down as Webmaster. Certain issues, both personal and professional play a part in his decision. In his stead, the Moderators and other Webmasters of Amiga.org will continue the site in the spirit it was intended. Their updated mission to provide a balanced resource for the Amiga Community on the Web. Wayne will continue hanging about, but as a Contributing Editor.
My Friends, one and all.
This is probably the strangest news item that I've ever written for this site, or any other. After 8+ years of working for the Amiga Community, I actually thought I'd never be writing this letter in the first place. Essentially speaking, there are things going on in both my personal life as well as professional life which make it difficult for me to give Amiga.org the priority, time, and effort it deserves.
On the personal edge, I have a few family obligations which must be met and they will be difficult to get through. Those who know me well know exactly what they are, but they don't need public attention here.
Professionally speaking, I have devoted the last 8+ years of my life to this community and site, while working 40+ hours per week at a regular job. Lately however, I find myself spending an average of 14 to 15 hours per day, every day behind the monitor for my livelyhood. Hopefully given that information, you might begin to understand that "vacations" from the site are starting to come too few and far between.
Enough of the personal stuff. Let's go into a little history lesson...
18 years ago while the 8086 was still unobtainable by most, Jay Miner and a talented crew of engineers handed the World the greatest computer ever known. In our fervor to embrace it, most of us were disowned by the Commodore 64 clubs of the time and the Amiga community was born. In 1991, as soon as it was practical, I started a Bulletin Board System (BBS) on a single phone line (my home phone) called "Wayne's World" to serve my local user group. That modest BBS turned into the club's board two years later, and moving to the Web in 1995 was a natural progression that I've never looked back on.
In 1985, each of us was literally entranced by the magic of the Amiga system. For most of us, even though the basics might have changed, and the reasons for still being here might have changed over the years, but the magic is still there. I haven't loved the hardware, or even the software in several years, but I have *always* loved the Community around it. I still do. There are very few of you, after all this time, that I would not consider a personal friend. I'm not really abandoning you, I've just decided to take a step back and follow a different road. A different light at the end of a tunnel to get to where I want to be in my life.
So, what happens now?
Over the last year, believe it or not, you have not been alone and neither have I. Amiga.org is not just me on a power trip, nor have most decisions and moderation been mine. Amiga.org "belongs to the people". It always has, despite the fact that everything has gotten so very factioned and political lately. Each of YOU determines what news gets submitted, what conversations are discussed, what links are added, and what images everyone sees. If you have seen an agenda, it is only because you have chosen to see it.
That being said however, there are a total of 10 people who've run Amiga.org behind the scenes and handle day-to-day moderation and help. I have been discussing this decision with our current staff, and most of them have been very helpful in determining a direction for the site. As of tomorrow, a couple of them will be taking on more responsibilities for the moderation and daily operations. The ONLY mandate I have passed along is that the site must remain neutral, and work to correct any perceived problems with the neutrality of Amiga.org.
Time pending, I will stay involved in the community by way of various related projects. In regards to Amiga.org, I intend to stay around as a contributing editor, as I will still very much have things to say in the future. It'd probably be best however if I didn't say them in the name of Amiga.org.
Do I have a dream?
Absolutely. Just as Amiga Inc originally saw past the classic Amiga platform, I see the potential for us all to return to being a community if we can learn to accept that we are all different, we all have different ideas, different needs, and different uses for a computer. If we can't, we will die. Where we once numbered in the tens of thousands or more, we are now mere thousands at best. Though most of us will disagree as to the cause, our tiny community is being ripped apart by the very people and arrogant pride that caused it's formation all those years ago.
Step back, smell the roses, and realize that there is more to "the Amiga" than loyalty to a name brand. There always has been. Sure, some would say it's a name. To some like me, it's always been about the community, to others, it's the magic in the feeling you got when you first owned one. Whatever your reasons, live and let live. We are all friends here, or at least we once were. The fact that we have good alternatives and positive things are now happening for the future is the absolute opposite of reason to tear the community apart...
Have fun, be safe, and prepare for the good times, down whatever road you travel. See you at AmiWest?
-
Wayne,
Is this for real?! :-o
I know we haven't exactly seen eye to eye over the past few months, but I totally respect and understand your decision and wish you luck for the future. You've done a lot for the community over the years, and whilst things have got a bit "heated" recently, the good times should not be forgotten.
Regards,
Ian Shurmer
-
Good Luck Wayne.
Many thanks to you for all your hard work over the years and for putting up with us for so long!! :-P :-D
All the best for the future, whatever you decide to do.
Best Regards,
Graham Crump
-
A suprise announcement indeed, Glad to hear your won't be going to far though and that this site will go on.
I would like to say a big thanks for a great site even with the ups and down lately, it is by far for me the primary source of Amiga information and where the community from all sides have remained.
The community afterall and more so the past few years is what the Amiga has been about, i'd doubt alot of us would still be here without it .
Good luck Wayne and cheers :pint:
hopefully we will still see your mug on IRC to :-)
-
Wayne
Best of luck. I too hope to see Amiga.org become a fairer or more
balance site, even if it is merely in the eye of the beholder. I don't
think you needed to step down to achieve that even if it is only
a part of your reasons.
Regards,
Dave.

Wayne:
Thanks for being the 'creator' of this small community we know as 'www.amiga.org'. It's a valiant move to let it continue on under other webmasters and moderators rather than let it die out.
Good luck with wherever life takes you, and don't be a stranger...
Thanks and good luck.
-
Best of luck in the future Wayne.
Your hardwork for this community have been very valuable.
Your work will be missed.
-
good luck wayne in your future, I as are most amiga users are very gratefull for your support and dedication over the past few years. If it wasnt for you and this site im sure a lot more users would of given up and walked away. So once again I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
-
:-o :-o :-o
Well, I agree with what was said earlier:
A suprise announcement indeed, Glad to hear your won't be going to far though and that this site will go on.
Take a vacation from your professional "life", settle your family/personal issues ... and come back! :-)
-
:-? :-o
-
I just wanted to say that I greatly appreciated all the work you've done on the site over the years, it really says a lot that you've stuck through it this far. I remember _years_ back seeing you contemplating leaving and I've always been surprised that you didn't move on like so many others. The community owes you a major debt of gratitude for the years of devotion you've showed us.
All the very best for the future Wayne, I hope you'll finally get to have some time off to spend with your wife (gee whiz, why would you want to do that? ;-)
Thanks for everything.
Damien
-
Take a vacation from your professional "life", settle your family/personal issues ... and come back!
Yep. Come back. So I won't say Sayonara :-)
I respect your decision though. Wishing luck both in profession and family, and one day come and claim back the lead here :-)
-
@Wayne:
I have to say I was initially surprised and saddened at this announcement. I'm sure I don't have to tell you what I think of amiga.org and your efforts - anyone who's read my relentless ranting on here over the last couple of years knows how grateful I am.
I'm glad you have decided to let the site live on. You could easily have said "bollox to the lot of you", and canned it, so thanks for that. :pint:
As for the future and the factions, I own both a Pegasos and an A1 (although the Peg is in Paris ATM). It depresses me to see people getting so uptight about on or the other. They both have potential.
As someone else already said, "Don't be a stranger!".
All the best, and thanks again,
Robert.
-
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the warm comments and support. I'll always be around. I've created an addictive substance called Amiga.org and it'll be hard to go cold turkey... I guess I need an intervention. :-)
In any event, there are still 9 other people who will continue to make this site possible. Don't hesitate to ask them should you need help.
See you at AmiWest.
Wayne
-
Blimey.
I havent always agreed with everything you've said over the years but I've kept coming back because its such a good site. Sorry to see you go.
Thanks, good luck and hope to see you around here in the future :-)
-
Good luck and thanks for giving us amiga.org.
-
I have always appreciated your considerable efforts over the years. You've helped to achieve something incredibly special, something that happened in much the same way when Jay Miner & team created their special legacy to us all.
That my friend is something that will never be forgotten. So thank you for your achievment and my very best wishes to you in all you that do.
-
Good Luck Wayne, I hope whatever it is gets sorted out. Thankyou for this place, it's kept the community alive, I've made some good friends here.
Cheers, and please dont go for good.
Rob.
-
See you at AmiWest.
Wayne
Say... Ain't these issues and changes regarding your profession mean you are the new CEO for Amiga Inc, aren't you? :-)
-
Say... Ain't these issues and changes regarding your profession mean you are the new CEO for Amiga Inc, aren't you?
By God! Somebody's got to do it. :-)
-
Wayne,
I just want to thank you for all you have done for the Amiga community as a whole. Very few people have been a rallying point or an unbiased pillar of support for the Amiga community. You have. I understand why you need to get out and about and I respect your decision. I am also greatful that Amiga.org is going away as well! :-) I hope you get the respite you need and I look forward to chatting with you at a later date.
Sincerely,
Prmetime
-
Sad to see you go, I hope your successors will keep up the great site that is Amiga.org :-)
Best of luck,
Blomberg
Oh btw, who are we gonna bitch and moan to now? :-D
-
Wayne,
"It's not time to make a change,
Just relax, take it easy.
You're still young, that's your fault,
There's so much you have to know. . . . "
Good luck, Wayne :-)

Hum,
Good luck, Wayne

Good luck Wayne!
I hope that everything comes to you as you wish. You are great.

Cheers for Amiga.org Wayne. Take care and remember if you do all your homework on Friday you have the whole weekend to just party!
-
Thanks for these years Wayne. Good luck.
-
Best of luck with everything Wayne.
Thanks for all the years of hard work you put into this site.
-
Phew! The first part had me all clammy feeling. But I'm glad to see that you aren't pulling the plug and it's great that you have a staff that you can trust to take over.
I have appreciated this place for a long time (lurking for years before I first opened my big mouth :-) ) and I intend to appreciate it for years to come.
I hope those family obligations are not of a particularly heavy kind, though it is none of my business, and that the other projects are fruitful and rewarding.
-
Wayne, sorry to read this. I'm sure you'll still be putting in some good contributions.
Thanks, for upholding this long. Its been more than worth it.
Take care,
Housey
-
Good luck wayne you have put a lot of work into this site and even carried on after some idiot hacked the site once or twice .The moderators do a good job so you should be able to have a bit of a break. :-)
-
Thanks for a great site wayne.
:pint:
-
Good luck, Wayne, and thanks for creating and improving what has became the best Amiga site on the 'net.

-
@Wayne,
Don't take this the wrong way, but I think this is a good decision on your part.
Private live before anything else is what I believe (learned the lesson a bit to late tho... Can't reverse it)
Good luck with your family obligations. Do hope to see more post from you as a normal member ;-)
And good luck to all the moderators of Amiga.org
-
Hey Wayne!
Well done for lots of reasons, particularly:
1. Creating Amiga.Org in the first place. Wherelse could all us workshy layabouts hang out?
2. Putting up with the endless rants of bickering morons (myself included ;~) arguing the toss about the most inane subjects.
3. And finally all the accusations of Anti this and pro that.
Everything has it's costs and having Family + Work + Website pulling at your time, something has to give. Releasing A.org ain't such a bad thing, since the people around you seem a capable bunch :-D Hope everything else can balance themselves out as well.
Hey, anyone attending Sacramento on Saturday: Could you buy Wayne some :pint: for me and I'll pay you back?
Cheers
-john

Just wanted to say thank you for all the zillions of hours you've dumped into Amiga.org over the years. It's popularity is the direct result of your time and money that you have invested in it.
Best wishes.

I'm sorry to see you go Wayne, you'll be missed around these parts.
Good luck with whatever life throws your way.

While this may seem sad news, i think it's good to be 'out' of it for a while sometimes. Everyone needs a break from things sometimes.
Giving the fact that you were/are so passionate about Amiga (nono, not the brand but the community :-)) and the website you have created, i think it will do you good and maybe you will return with fresh energy and maybe maybe the climate will have changed a bit by then.
I wish you all the best and a lot of respect for everything you have done for us, the amiga community.
-
:-o Didn't see this coming!
Good luck with your professional and personal life.
You'll be sad to leave Amiga.org, like leaving your kids to fend for themselves. But life will be so much easier without having to look after it. Just make sure you don't forget about it and keep popping in :-D
As someone asked before, who's the new webmaster? Or will it be a joint effort between all the moderators?
btw, remember to post ALL your news and photos from AmiWest for those of us who can't go ;-) and enjoy the fun while you're there :-)
make sure you have :pint: handy for going cold turkey, just don't have too many :-o :-D
-
sad news to hear, thanks for all the hard work keeping this site up. amiga.org has been a great part of my life for the last few years.
Good luck.
-
Wow, it's been 8 years already! Time flies! Well, thanks for this wonderful web site Wayne and it's a shame you can't stay on at the helm. I too hope the community can stick together. Good luck and hopefully you'll still be able to maintain a strong presence on the site, if not now at least sometime in the future. Take care.
- Mike
-
@Wayne
Once things have settled down, you will be back. I will go to Huntsville and drag you back in ;-)
Seriously, thanks for all the memories, and I am happy you'll still be a "contributing editor."
Dave C.
-
So long and thanks for all the fish ! ;-)
see ya when you post next !
the site will go on without you at the helm,
but boy, what a site you leave to the posse !
good luck with the private stuff, hope all goes well...
-
Vincent wrote:

It will be a joint effort shared by all the moderators. Those that have more experience/seniority will likely have more responsibility.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has responded in these comments so far. Thank you in advance to those that will respond! Your support is greatly appreciated!
-
Many others have already voiced everything I could think of to say, so I'll just echo, "Thanks for everything you've done for the community, and thanks for passing it on instead of pulling the plug!"
-
Good luck to you and thank you for up-keeping, fighting, and showing that Amiga people still care!
Thank you so much.
-
Wayne! Thanks for this place, though I haven`t been here a massive amount myself lately, I still think this place is just about the best site out there. Diffinately the best Amiga site, at least. It`ll be weird without you hanging around here and there.
Drop by when ever you want! IRC too. :-)
Theres only so long you can do this I suppose, so I understand why you are going. I would have left years ago :-D
-
Drop by when ever you want! IRC too. :-)
Yeah, now you can spend much more time in the irc channel. :-D ;-)
Well, whatever you decide to spend your new found free time on, I wish you the very best of luck. Enjoy yourself, you deserve it buddy!
Many thanks,

-
Thats sad...
Wayne was probably the best one! :-o
(but dont worry redrumloa, and targhan etc... you were just as good! ;-) (just kidding wayne ;-) ))
i suppose you can always change your mind in the future cant you
-
Wayne,
Many, like myself visit amiga.org regularly but post rarely. Just wanted to let you know that the silent majority appreciate the many years of hard work you've poured into this site that benefits the entire community.
Looking forward to some insightful editorials now that you are unburdened with the day to day operations.
-
Good luck Wayne!
(:nervous: for those of you who don't know me, I've been registered for about a year, and often look at posts, but don't post my self.)
-
Thanks for all the work Wayne. Hope all works out well for you.

Well, although we don't share the same view, nobody can accuse you of ever having been a bore or walking away from a debate.
Like everyone, you have your beliefs, and you can only be applauded for keeping them comprehensive and clearly understood.
Best wishes for your future.

Hello Wayne,
very sad news today! :-(((
i would like to say THANK YOU for your great work
and site!
You know once a amiga fan - forever a amiga fan,
i hope you will came back! :-))
but inside i feel, you are at this time, disappointed about the current amiga situation?
is this one of the reasons too,
because you find for yourself a new home with pegasos/morphos?
Wayne,i wish you all the best and good luck for your future,
i know by myself how hard it is to make a site like
amiga.org possible!
dont forget - the fire still burns! :-))
best wishes
Olaf K. - Amiga Arena
ps:soory for my bad english, you know i came from germany ;-)
-
Whoa.. A biggie..
Thanks Wayne on making this place happen. I know we visitors (me included) have not been as nice and polite as should have been.. Not to you (and team) doing voluntary work and especially not amongst each other..
Whatever you'll do next I'll hope it'll be interesting and rewarding.

Amiga.org probably the only Amiga site I read regularly for several years (in the wilderness?).
Thanks for keeping it going Wayne.

-
All the best for the future, Wayne!
Thanks for this great site.
-
Hey Wayne!
Just a quick post of thanks for Amiga.org, it's a major part of my enjoyment of the Amiga over the past few years. Even when I left to get away from all the fighting, I couldn't stay away for very long.
I've met a lot of great people on here and on the mighty IRC channel, and have become involved in some great projects (like Flying Paper) through this site.
I hope your "retirement" allows you to enjoy your friends, family and Amiga hobby even more.
Good luck in the future.
-
I'm away for most part of the night (helping father-in-law build his first PC ..the RMH 1).. come home to find this news !!
All I can say is ...Thankyou Wayne for a great site.
Best wishes
Paul & Sue.
-
Well..... Good Luck and thx :pint:
-
This is just terrible news indeed.
It is, of course, impossible to be neutral on some subjects.....like, as a totally made up example, if I said the moon was made of green cheese, and someone else suggested its made of rocks.
Would we have to believe that the moon is HALF MADE OF GREEN CHEESE, just because one person is an IDIOT. :-)
Anyone who criticized Wayne for not being objective, is a sick son of a you know what....
I know after 8 years, that Wayne Hunt was great at what he did, and was totally professional and expert at handling the diverse opinions and even the oddball personalities (like me).
The middle between two extremes is just an arbitrary point, anyone who attempts to find the middle ground, has allowed themselves to be defined by the extremes, and does not exhibit leadership.
Wayne was a leader. We wasn't a pro-Morphos fanatic, by any means...and he always had a fondness in his heart for the Amiga community and Amiga hardware....but he was a true leader, not a wishy washy pantywaist....and I hope, that the next leaders in this community will be so good.
-
So long, and thanks for all the fish :-).
D'Oh, ofcourse someone already used that (thanks a lot agafaster ;-).
Even though I'm a latecomer to A.org I'd still like to thank Wayne for starting this excellent site. Even in the good'ol days A.Org was a prime news site for me (still is perhaps? :-D).
-
Well, like many here, this is certainly quite a suprise.
Like a few others who've replied here, I have been a regular visitor (once a day for 2 years at least) but never really posted much, which I may one day rectify.
I hope that the family issues are not serious, and get resolved painlessly.
I also hope that you find the break good for you and use the gained time wisely :-D
Anyway, glad your hanging around still, and I hope that you always will .Good luck :-)
-
I've said it before: when Phoenix got started, the most vocal posters here were adamant and hostile - they did NOT want to see announcements or dialog from a movement critical of Gatemiga and Gatemiga developer relations. Wayne himself was firmly in the camp that believed in Gateway plans for the Amiga but still supported the right to post news from the rebel lands.
When I met Wayne at St Louis in 2000 there was some tension because we still seemed to be diametrically opposed. But actually the conversations eased that feeling and were interesting and friendly.
Wayne is a leader, in my book. He's set the tone, and no doubt will play a part in that wherever he goes.
-
I totally don't know what to say dude.
Well at least OA will live on right :-?
-
Wayne
-Thank you, & Enjoy life away from the monitor.
-
Well, Im following the stream... good luck to you, and thanks for sharing some thoughts !
/Gunne
-
Well, it's about time.
I can't say that I'm sorry to see him go, his unprofessionalism, arrogance, blatant bias and sheer rudeness lowered the tone of the whole site.
I look forward to an improved amiga.org without his corrupting influence.
-
Wayne,
I remember when you started up amiga.org... You have done an **awesome** job here!!
Thank-you for all of your hard work and time.
Cheers,
Bryan Pope
-
I can appreciate how difficult and time consuming it can be to be a webmaster.
Everyone deserves a break from responsibility.
life has its problems and we all make decisions that change our direction to improve life.
If you are happier to be in a less demanding role then that is what you must do. It works wonders in preventing grey hairs ;-)
Stick around though, things are just getting interesting and now you will be able to see them from a more comfortable distance.
Good luck! :-)
-
All the best for the future and thanks for this great site. :-P
-
"Say it ain't so, Wayne!". If it is so, then God Speed and God Bless. Regards, Art
-
Wayne, thanks for all the hard work.
Sometimes it's just plain good to turn back into an average user again and have no major responsibility towards the Community. Been there, done that :-)
-
Wayne, thank you very much for A.org.
I wish you the best luck in the future.
Thanks again and best regards,
Saluditos,
Ferrán.
-
@Minuous,
Have a nice day.
@Everyone else,
Too bad you didn't sign up for AmiWest. Looks like it's going to be the best yet. More to come.

Wayne
When I first started surfing the web back in 1995, I was using my Amiga 2000HD over a 14.4Kbps dialup, using AmiTCP/IP 4.0 demo version, Holger Kruse's ppp.device and Amiga Mosaic.
In those days I usually visited "The Amiga Web Directory" for the nightly Amiga news.
Then one night I came across Amiga.org and I knew I had found a new place to catch up on all the news, and see people discussing many topics, including the past and future of the Amiga. In many ways, Amiga.org provided a ray of hope for a community waiting in the wings for someone to bring back the Amiga.
I would like to thank you for all your patience and dedication to the Amiga community and for all your hard work to keep this site going over the years. You provided a place where we could come and chat and talk and discuss and argue and sometimes fight about topics that were near and dear to us.
I wish you the very best as you take the time to work out your family obligations and your professional obligations.
I look forward to hearing from you again. There will always be room at Amiga.org for another person and another opinion.
Thanks,
redfox
-
Wayne,
I thank you for a long and entertaining tenure as webmaster here. Although I have at times come to disagree with what you have said on certain issues, it does not blind me to the fact that you have created a major on-line Amiga community. The best. I am deeply grateful for your work devoted to this site.
Best of luck with your future.
Kindest regards
Stan :-)
-
As everyone before me has said.. Thanks so much Wayne for what can only be described as digital crack. :-D
-Madgun68, a proud A.org addict.
-
Wayne, your tolerance of the best and worst of the community has been an example to us all. Now you are showing us the most important lesson yet - there is LIFE out there, away from these stupid computers.
Best wishes
tony
-
Hi Wayne,
Like everybody already said: good luck with everything you do! :-D
I'm looking forward to your contributions here.
(In the past I had the feeling you were holding back)
I think the future will be very interesting here at Amiga.Org with you as contributing editor :-D :-D
Best wishes,
spidey
-
Many thanks for all the hardwork Wayne and good luck for the future.
-
Good luck with your new projects.
Thanks,
Stefano.
-
Well, this hit me like a Gamma bomb.
Very understandable, though. If I don't come back for a couple of days, it's a major job catching up on what's gone by (and I miss not being here a couple days, too). It's so busy here and you do so much more than just read posts to "catch up" on the goings on. And the pay sucks too, I'll bet. But, how can you measure that warm fuzzy feeling?
What's left to say that hasn't been?
If this was a pc x86 thing, you'd be written up in magazines. You have a website running for near as long as the internet (recognized in its' present form) was in peoples bedrooms, and now livingrooms and in fact everywhere, almost. The web site is half as old as the computer itself, and must be high in the oldest sites list.
There are other great Amiga sites too, but this is about this one.
The diverse topics that can and are discussed here, impresses me. And, this IS a computer website, so that says alot.
So, I'd say you made an A1 site here, but it's an opinion, my opinon. Dare I say legend?
In closing, I greatly appreciate that there was a person like you around, who was willing to put up with the turmoil of an on again/off again saga of a "mere" electronic device, and in an unmeasurable amount, are helping save it from dissolution which does not deserve to be its' fate.
Thank You Wayne Hunt. (Others share this opinion, don't know how many though :-D.)
-
Thanks Wayne for A.org, hope you change your mind.
Phoenix....
-
Best wishes Wayne and good luck with all your future endeavours - Andy.
-
I just hope this site dosent turn into AmigaIncWorld.org .... I doubt it will though... it has its roots in the 'moderate' non-name-worshipping ground...
-
Wayne... Happy retirement man... And thank you for creating this place. It means the world to all of us in the Amiga community. You've truely earned your place as an AmiGod!
Good luck in all your endeavors!
-
Hi Wayne,
Thank you for this very great site, i wish you all the best in your future, see you around mate :-)
-
(http://amiga.org/images/subject/icon9.gif)Man, if any announcement could bring the lurkers out of the woodwork, this would be it. And it's done just that.
Thank you for Amiga.org, Wayne. This is the best Amiga related forum on the 'net, bar none.
-

All our best to you and your family.

A crap site giving crap opinions and run by
biased fruitcakes! That is why I have my work and
home computer homepages default here and I log in
every day (sually as a guest) every day religiously.
There is nothing wrong with having different opinions
or preferring one PC, Amiga or derivative over
another (I'm posting this on WINUAE on a P4 2.6, still
ain't an Amiga but it's all I got left!). As a COMMUNITY
we should be glad of the choice at least it
keeps us going and alive.
Hopefully all parties will come together one day soon
and achieve the outcome the COMMUNITY and INVESTORS
deserve.
Be proud of your achievements and contribution to
the COMMUNITY, value your own opinions and your integrity.
Thankyou for your efforts and stay an Amigan.

Just a note guys,
Thanks for the continued support. I'm off to AmiWest this morning, so will be off-net for a few days. I would sincerely encourage, though I know the timing stinks -- anyone who can still attend to do so. Should be a great show.

Hi Wayne,
A bit late of me but thanks for all the effort you have put into the community with the site. I wish you well, amiga.org is still my favourite place on the web :-D
Incidentally, how come these things always happen in those times when I am away from the site for a few days? Blimey...
-
I haven't been posting here that long, having been an old user returning, but it's plain to see how much work you have put into this great site.
A great big thank you for your efforts, I think we all appreciate what you have done for the community, and this site does keep the community together when there seem to be so many different factions.
Good luck for the future, and thanks.
All the best,
Cyberus
