Megagames have given the Tulip C= 64 re-launch quite in-depth coverage
Check it out! (http://www.megagames.com/news/html/hardware/commodore64re-launched.shtml)
-Edit- Windows users, beware of Adware when clicking above.
-
C64 is the best selling home computer of all time. And yet, Apple II still gets all the credit. Bah!
-
So they're going to slap an "official" emulator
on a PC and sell it as a 64??? And then try to
charge people for old software? No thanks..
I predict this will be a pathetic flop...
-
Why am I visualizing the Fox Dr Who movie or that horrid Star Blazers movie Disney attempted?
-
Seems someone at Tulip had dollar signs light up in his eyes when they decided to do that.
Oh well, that's western economy for ye.. :-D If you can beat money out of something, then someone will certainly do just that.
-
In depth ??? Baahhhh !!
That's not even shallow what they wrote, a mere pile of rubbish.
A true reporter states that some of the acts are given as MAYBE or he CAN'T CHECK them. When Mega games wrote 6 milion all their credability has gone. Poof. They should hae stated that it's a number given to them, and they can't chack it. (Actually no one can !!)
There are no 6 milion users, there is no real comentary from the REAL C64 users (like myself) who think this is plain stupid and looks like a last attemt to make some money before the final stage of oblivion.
In short, Mega games suck with this report, coz I wanna, I can lick Tulip website and say it's wonderful, I don't have to read it again in other place.
:-x :-x

Dunno what causes it, I don't care enough about Windoes to learn causes, only prevention and cleanup. but what happens is you get a requestor asking if you want to install such and such to enhance the page. One of the pop ups is GATOR   My wife fell for that before :-x Cleaning up that mess was no fun :-x

it's visualbasic script.
