Grasshopper LLC is selling the most fabulous DTP package PageStream 4.1 for only 99 dollars in the month juli. It is hoped that the sales of this package will be in such numbers in the month juli that they can keep the new price of 99 dollars.
This is you chance to get this package that can easilly be used as a word processor and support 1 of the last ACTIVELY developped packages for the Amiga.

If I click on the shopping cart then the order page shows a price of 299$ instead of 99$.
:-?

Woohoo ! $99 is cheap ! especially considering it normally goes for $299 ! :-o
I have been interested in DTP since I used Quark on the Mac (original !) we had at school, but was always put off by the heavy price tag.
soon as I get me AmigaOne and me A1200 sorted out, I'll get this (the Amiga OS version).
Nice to see they've decided to do a PPC native version for Amiga OS 4.0 - I'd definitely up/cross-grade to that when the OS comes !! :-D
Just done a quick conversion -
$99 is just over £59 (atm)
$299 is around the £179 mark. :-o :-D :-P

This is one of the last professional development companies which support the Amiga.
I would like to urge everybody who cares about the platform to pick up a copy.
Great value!

I'm definately in on this. This has always been rated as a top program and at this price it's a bargain.
BTW, does it use it's own windowing system.?ISTR that some of the glyphs/Menus are a bit, err, agricultural?

I've been using PageStream on the Amiga since version 2.0. I have 4.1.x.x (4.1.4.0 installed, 4.1.5.6 in an archive) on my Amiga, and 4.1.3.4 on my Mac.
On the Amiga, it follows the Amiga Inteface Styleguide as much as possible.
It does the same on the Mac (Mac guidelines), and I would guess the same for Windows and Linux as well.

It's a great program,I think the mag Total Amiga is done on this software, so all you people who haven't brought it, what are you doing reading this GO AND buy it :-D

If you are going to get this ( and I do recommend it ) get yourself a FAST Amiga.
e.g.
AmigaForever on a 1Ghz+ PC
060 equipped Amiga

AmigaForever on a 1Ghz+ PC
2.6GHz AthlonXP should be OK then :-D
060 equipped Amiga
1200T w/1260 + 96MB RAM + Voodoo3 etc
Should fit the specs OK as well

Or a PPC Amiga...which is a problem because there's no saying it'll work. Pity there's no demo.

Does anyone know if PageStream will run under emulation on MorphOS or OS4.0?

I'm running it on MorphOS here and it works fine.

It works great on the Pegasos and very fast.
This is one of the best DTP packages for any
platform and a lot more affordable too. :)
