Hi all! My first post here..
I was wondering if you guys could help me out..
I recently tried to install Debian on my a1200-PPC..
But i couldnt get it to use my BVision. And I should
mention that this is the first time i install/use Linux.
Which preferences should i change? How? And what should
i type?... eh... help me out here!.. =)
The reason I am writing this is that i NEED the PPC
realplayer codecs from a ppc linux distro to use with AMP.
but i think i will try to get debian up and running anyway so
help is appreciated. but.. could someone mail me those
codecs?.. please mail them to spot@triad.nu
thank you guys!

Hi Spot!
I'm sorry but my only experience with Unix/Linux on Amiga was an OpenBSD install. Anyway, is it not possible to directly extract the files from the distro from the Amiga side? Maybe the xad device supports
the linux distro's filetype.

you could try the linux/apus mailing list to get help on this.

I never got Debian to run on my A2000. I did get OpenBSD to install with no problem. Unfortunately, I don't think that BVision is supported by any Unix.
