Flash ROMs are a good thing to have. With my Algor, the OS3.9 ROM modules are available from a cold boot; no more reboots at all! :-D
Nice to see elbox with a similar solution, although the algor saves me a slot. If you already have a spider, though, the eFlash looks ideal.

Ok, since nobody's asked this question yet...
Will OS4 boot from it?

@KennyR
From reading the elbox press release
" The users of the new Amiga operating system--AmigaOS4.x--will have an additional benefit: the eFlash 4000 card will give them a possibility of definite shortening of the system's start time by executing the AmigaOS code from the FlashROM memory."
In a round about way I think that means yes.

that was a feature listed under the e4000 card. There is no mention of it under the e1200 description.

What a brilliant idea. I used to show off the booting speed of my A1200 to my mates, but since getting the Mediator/OS3.9 etc, the boot time is on a par with my PC at work.
Nice bit of lateral thinking there.... I'm imnpressed and may well fork out for one myself!

Looks like a top product. :-)

Weeeeeeee!
I'll order it right now!
Buy! Buy! Buy! Buy! Buy!
:-D

Nice!
