>MPEG4

IIRC 8 years ago there is an important meeting on Siemens HQ (German) about MPEG-4 development and TAO Group was involved in the meeting.

Today JVC Digital Camcorder uses TAO Group's INTENT for playing & recording MPEG-4:

I hope AmigaDE will support MPEG-4 standards.

See EMPHASIS / European MPEG-4 project (1995-1998) with Tao Groups as a participant:

If there are any MPEG-4 audio players for the amiga, I would appreciate anyone downloading and testing my "Foundations", "SundaySuite", and TheSpell" selections from AmiNET. As I suspect that I accidentally uploaded them in that format, thinking I had saved them out in MPEG-3.

First you have to rember an little technical issue that there is no such thing as MPEG3 but probably talking about MPEG1 layer 3. It might be small point but it is very important point.

To have total low down on MPEG then go MPEG work group site.
