"compatibility with the RoadShow stack added"
WOW :-o
RoadShow is the OS4 Tcp/ip stack :-o
-
Was thinking the very same thing my self...
Curious and could lead to no end of speculation :-D :-D

no I wouldn't look to much into it if I were you. AFAIK it has always been said RoadShow would be available as a separate product outside OS4.
-
From what I gather, RoadShow will eventually be released for public consumption across compatible Amiga type operating systems and setups. That incudes OS3.x as well as MorphOS etc. Some sources have said Olaf signed a contract to not release RoadShow until after the OS4 software release. That means the software could already be completed but minor tweaks still left in the GUI need to be worked out. I guess it's a wait and see type thing though, oh well.

I must admit that my heart beats a bit faster to see things like 'Roadshow' support added.
But I think in an announcement back in October of 2002, one of the Amiga shows talked about hosting a gaming convention using Roadshow and Quake 2 for AmigaOS.
So...it must be available to some people for a while now....hey say it is a good ip stack and somewhat faster than, say MiamiDX or AmiTCP.
I didn't hear anyone compare it to TermiteTCP.
Now....its good to have a 4th TCP/IP stack...and if there are more, forgive me for not mentioning them all....
but it will be nice to have that PowerPC native OS someday......that's what I'm waiting for.

I hope that RoadShow will rocks :-)
