Title: Pick a color, any color (as long as it's blue, grey, or yellow)

To help with the controversy over the new blue background, Registered users can now choose between different themes, including a Grey, Blue, and Yellow color scheme (from the Amiga.org 5.0 period).  

Since our graphics guy (SimoAmi) has somewhat disappeared recently, we are looking for a great web artist to help us build some new headers for the yellow and possibly a red and green theme as well.  If you are that great web artist, we could really use your help.

Grey is OK, but a little bland. To bright for me. The yellow is
actually quite horrible...:-)
 
So blue ought to be my choice. Feels more genuine having a darker background.

Sheesh, that yellow one was a bit off, the blue is very nice but the coloring of the news borders is not.

Ah, i see theres a BeOS icon present aswell, a bit odd, too big too. But it is refreshing to see all this work being done, does that mean the replacement for xoops is off ?

I'd also agree that the shade of grey a touch darker would be great.. but hey, i'm happy enough not to be seeing [color=0000CC]Blue[/color] no more. :-D

I'm with Calen on this one, a little darker grey for the backdrop will do nicely.  Other than that, the grey's doing fine for me :-D

Blue: Been there, done that.  But it's a nice background colour nonetheless.
Grey: Nice.  Not hard on the eyes, and very ... serene.
Yellow: AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!  My eyes!!!  Must ... avert ... my ... eyes!!!  Now I know what it feels like to have a hangover and be looking at a bright computer screen at the same time. :-P

My vote: Go for grey, or stick with the current blue.  I prefer grey, but I'd be happy either way.

Verdicts:

Grey - like everyone else says - not to bad, but a bit too light really.
Yellow - If that dates from a previous version of amiga.org's setup, then god knows how their eyes survived intact...
Blue - definitely the best for now, until some more variety can be introduced to the options.

I actually liked the yellow theme, though it's a little intense. Perhaps something like #FEFFBB would be a little better.
Still, the ol' blue theme does look incredibly good. :-D

I tried all of the choices.  I didn't mind the yellow that much though it is a bit extreme.  Maybe some texture or a slightly different shade would make it more palatable.

The grey fades into the text boxes too much.  A different shade that adds some clear cut differences would be better.

In the end I have to say I like the blue the best.  Maybe a slightly lighter shade but I'm certainly not complaining.
