Very good news :-D :pint:
Isnt Candy Factory also one of the programs used to showoff morphos ? :) :pint:
That this app is going OS4 native must be a kick in the morphos balls too....

Zeoneoare easily making the BEST PDA friendly AmigaDE games so far. Their games are a head of everyone else. Now, they're funding development of a proven success, which is great news. Now this product has a firm future with Zeoneo.
I wonder if they would do a port for the DE? If OS4 ever gets published, and therefor OS5 down the track a few years later, It'd be a very good thing for the product!
Way to go Zeoneo. Keep up the good work.

@Rodney
Zeoneo have a good record of actually producing the goods, so I suspect that this announcement will be exactly to form. I'd be very suprised if there isn't some kind of OS4 announcement shortly, seeing as the Gohtenberg is coming up (possibly even seeing OS4 make it's public debut?).
CFP is one hell of a good program. The only thing lacking IMHO, is you cannot work on a picture larger than your current screensize (this won't bother most people though).
Still, list me down as a buyer. All I need now is Nova Design to announce IFX5PPC and I'll be well happy.

Cool. This is one of the best programs ever made. Though you can tell the current one is the first.
I think it needs the following.
The ability to zoom. Maybe have a separate zoom window too. So you can have multiple views of your
project as well as the full version.
The ability to have more than one texture. Maybe if each part of the mask can be treated
differently this could be possible. Another possibility would be procedural textures.
A few of the parameters can`t be edited in real time, so they would have to be changed so they are.
Animation would be cool. If the lights could be moved around and saved as an animation that`d be
most cool. Yes this would add a whole load more complexity to the program, but it could be cool.
I've done a "stop motion" animation in it before and it did look cool.

As for the problem with not being able to do projects bigger than the screen. Make your screen
bigger. I don`t mean resolution, though thats good too. I mean make it an auto-scrolling screen.
Change the screen size, and make sure the auto-scroll option is checked. I have mine running on a
huge screen, and its running at 1280x1024. I think its probably 1280x1800 or something. This allows
for a project which is big and usually there`s no overlapping window confusion. I`m sure you will be
able to make it scrollable horizontally too if you want to go bigger than your screen that way too.

Candy is my favorite Amiga program ever :-D
-
These are good news indeed. However, I hope there still will be PUP/WOS or 68K versions too, if MOS will be omitted.
-
I think out of you choices Warface, WOS will the only one which stands a chance. 68k shouldn`t really be touched. Its too slow for this program. Though yes I`ve never tried it on an 060/75, but My 240mhz PPC can only just take some projects, let alone something much slower. At small sized yeah, but past something like 100x100 I`m sure it would start to slow significantly. You`d have to deactivate all the realtime effects. Whats the fun in that!? :-)
-
This is good news indeed. Pehraps now I will be able to get it to work on my amiga, assuming that is I can get my amiga back up and running, its still giving me major headaches.

The above two avatars are too much for the male brain
I would include the third one into that statement! Beeer, ahh. :pint: :-D
-
But VB? Man...nasty stuff, if there is one thing the aussies can't do it's beerbrewing :-).
-
Great news. Candy is a super program!
-
Weeeeee! I should try that prog.
What is it used for :-D
I really don't know
-
Candyfactory is good for the obvious. Logos, cool lettering and the basic web graphics like buttons etc. I`ve also used it for doing various other things, like creating weird patterns for game graphics and for making premade bump maps for textures on 3D objects. A very useful peice of software! Well worth the £35!
