Title: SID-Player for Amiga
Post by: jumpship on February 17, 2003, 08:40:39 PM
Do you know the best SID Player for the Amiga?

This is a must have for each C64 music (SID) lover. A friend of mine Factor 6 found an amazing SID player for the Amiga called "SID Booster" by Lukasz Baran. The main features are:

    * AHI output
    * HardRestart emulation [the first player in the world, which is able to do this]
    * manual tuning of ADSR
    * filters
    * mixing (fast SID rendering in Assembly)
    * adjustable DSP echo (great!)
    * play list
    * nice GUI based on GlowIcons

Great news! I always wanted a sid player with filters support for my A1200 (and sid4amiga is too slow on my machine). I'll try it this evening when I'll return home, I hope it plays sids well on a 030.

Will it be uploaded to aminet, too?

I've tried it, but it keeps crashing, from both wb and cli :(
Any hint? I'm using an a1200 with 030@50 and AmigaOS 3.0.
