IOSPIRIT (http://www.iospirit.de/) is pleased to present you today a demo version of fxPAINT 2.0 - immediately available through their download section (http://www.iospirit.de/index.php?mode=download).
Limitations/specialities of the demo version:
- saving is disabled
- DEMO-text on every image
- the demo version is noticably slower than the full version
- a small refresh bug due to the DEMO-text-effect when zooming is lower than 100 percent. This bug ONLY exists in the demo version
- some features of the full version are missing completly or are disabled
The demo version comes with all native modules for 68K, PPC (WarpUP, PowerUP, MorphOS) and x86 (Amithlon) and gives you - except for the limitations of the demo - an impression and some insight of fxPAINT 2.0.
Have fun!

Cool! Will try it out tonight on WinUAE. Should I use the native 68K module or the Amithlon module? Probably the 68K eh?
-
@ redrumloa:
fxPAINT does auto-detect the hardware it runs on and loads the correct CPU module on itself. It will only run as plain 68K-program on UAE though. X86-support right now (and in foreseeable future) is only for Amithlon.
Best regards,
Felix Schwarz

Cool! Looks like Felix is working day and night!
Yesterday "IBrowse", today the "fxPaint" demo version.
What will be released tomorrow? ;-)
Thank you, for the great work!

I tried it out for about 10 minutes last night, and that was enough for me to think "WOW!" its really cool.
Its definately on my big long list of "things I want to buy", but I only have so much money to spend on stuff... *sigh*

Yeah, I tried it out last night myself. I thought the same thing, looks pretty cool! I guess it's been a LOOOONG time since I used ANY paint program(insert memory of Deluxe Paint 4), because I was mostly lost :-o When i finally figured out a brush effect I was pretty impressed :-) This will probably be a purchase soon, because it ran quite well under UAE.
-edit- Before anyone asks, i partially used M$ paint to make my avatar, but I hardly consider M$ paint a real paint program, it's a toy.
