GameSpy.COM (http://www.gamespy.com/) made a Top Ten shameful games ... Atari gets pounding in this list of horrible games.
"Steel yourself for some of the most shameful, pain-inducing video games out there. Are these the worst games of all time? Well, that depends on your definition of "worst." Is it worse for a game to be boring, offensive, poorly designed, or simply stupid? It's hard to say, and there are plenty of games out there that fit one or more of those descriptions. It doesn't take much to be simply a bad game, but to be truly shameful, a game has to have something more⦠or maybe less."
Check out the Top Ten here ... (http://www.gamespy.com/top10/december02/shame/index.shtml)

I could rattle off some god-aweful Amiga games quite easily:-)
-
As with any platform but Amiga still has more classics :-)
-
Yeah but it's hard to beat "Titus" for worst games on ANY platform, unfortunately they kept churning out complete garbage on the Amiga...gaaaaah :-x
-
Can't say i played to many of there games besides Titus the fox and umm Some crazy cars thing which was not to bad.
Alot of the classic companys who made there living almost soley on the Amiga our still alive today in some form or other on PC/consoles and with some ok titles.
Team17 where an Amiga only for many years who first started out as a very small PD company and almost all there titles where instant classics. DMA Design also dished out classic after classic and from what i have read recently, they our now better known as Rockstar games?? who our responsible for one of the biggest games in the past few years, The GTA serious.
The list goes on and on, and it shows that alot of the big titles out today, alot the programmers first got a taste for it all threw Amiga and ye old C64.
It also seems though of late more titles than none on the console/pc our just rehashes and originality has been lost. You can only play so many FPS until it gets tiresome and samo samo
They need to get back to there roots and thats when the inspiration for more originality will come, ahmmmm ;-)

@Redrumloa
I guess my worst ever Amiga game has to be Captain Planet. How the hell it ever got included in a bundle beggars belief.

You're telling me!
My top 3 worst games on the Amiga.
3: APB - Very Poor Arcade Conversion
2: Outrun - Given the A500's Capabilities......
But without a doubt the worst game I have ever miserably paid out
money for and felt like I had been mugged is...
1: Street Racer (Nintendo Conversion by Guildhall Leisure)
This "Game" was put together by a dozen monkeys in their
spare time from writing that certain script of Hamlet they
had accidently worked out.....

1: Street Racer (Nintendo Conversion by Guildhall Leisure)
I just recently "played" that one on my old Mega Drive. It really was quite unplayable. The worst Mario Kart clone ever, probably. :-)

How's about Akira? So bad they wouldn't even send out review copies!
