Title: HD-Rec, First public Beta release
Post by: FuZion on December 27, 2002, 11:04:42 PM
"HD-Rec is a powerful MIDI/audio sequencer for the Amiga computer. It takes full advantage of the AHI system for audio and the CAMD system for MIDI input and output. So you can be sure that your hardware is supported if there is a driver for those systems."

"...compatible to future platforms like AmigaOne or Amithlon and used only retargetable driver systems like Picasso96, AHI and CAMD to be hardware independant."

Nice features.

In the Amithlon note, you wrote that Soundblaster 128 is good enough for professional production. Soundblaster audio cards are reliable, no problem about that,  but *recording* requires better cards, at least for midi & audio medium projects (nevertheless, i've not tested the last Audigy).

Amiga needed a new rec/midi soft. Thank you !
