Title: Blitz Basic tutorials?
Post by: Imerion on October 01, 2003, 09:53:03 PM
Since im very used to basic I thought I would start to make some cool games for my Amiga. (Something ive wanted to do a long time). To get used to the Blitz dialect, I looked for some tutorials. The only ones I found was these http://www.blitz-2000.co.uk/ but they only go through the most basic things. Anyone who knows if there are any other Blitz tutorials?

The best thing to do is download and read the archives of the blitz mailing list from the Blitz 2000 site.
If you`re still having problems or got some unanswered questions, then sign up to the list..still active, just a bit quiet !

I bought blitz2, and Im extremely happy today that I did.

It came with a tutorial that I got sucked into at once. Blitz2 became my heaven of fun and creativity.

Particulary, I had alot of fun with a life simulation
that I had completed in 96 or something
but uploaded to aminet many years later.
(Lifun on aminet)

But when Amiblitz2 came,
this superb language became AWESOME.
-Much faster,
-Less bugs,
-More userfriendly stuff.

I love it.

I have an exe that has help on most commands,
and amigaguides on the same commands,
so email me if you want me to send them.
