Once again I uploaded new Quake 2 Mods to
http://www.knight-industries.de/q2/index.htm (http://www.knight-industries.de/q2/index.htm)
This time the Roughnecks Mod (if you know the
Movie "Starship Troopers" - and I assume you do :) - this will look SOMEWHAT
familiar to you !!!) and the Napalm2 Mod (All Weapon Effects have been replaced by fire Effects)

Not that I'm much of a Quake fan myself but will this port run on 4.0 without modifications? Or is there a 4.0 specific version planned ?

Steffen, you rock!
In fact, the only way you could rock more, is if you made a clone of Stunt Car Racer that had a better 3D engine, and supported internet play, but kept the basic gameplay the same. After all, OS4 could really do with some games that weren't ported from the PC and arent first person shooters...
Not that i'm trying to put ideas in your head :)
But anyway, back on topic, I'm quite looking forward to trying this out when I finally get a PPC based computer :-D

Yeah it is great, pity about the few bugs that are in the game, I hope they get fixed soon.

this game are on my list after i get my A1..
maybe possible to write a little loader so we can
play the game w/o OS4 ? :-D
would help with the waiting....

I do not know what you mean, Quake 2 does not require OS 4. It runs on OS 3.x (with PPC Board) as well. And to the others: Yes, it will be possible to play the Quake 2 port on OS 4 :)

I'm in on the Stunt Car Racer remake too. That would be
real sweet.
I want to play QuakeII, but I need some hardware first :-(
