This is kind of off topic for this forum, but cool nevertheless.  Pretec has announced the availability of 3 Gigabyte CompactFlash cards.  Imagine putting one of THOSE in your PDA or digital camera!

Cool, wonder how much they`ll sell for?

-
				As Australians would say

 "Heaps" !!
-
				Or as I would say.

 "MORE THAN I CAN AFFORD!"
-
I'd like one of those keychain ones...the 1gb model sells for £499  :-o

Off Topic? Amiga Anywhere is sold on these babies... This could potential enhance the technology in PDA's, making them more usable + more marketable.

IF that happens, Amiga Inc and Hyperion are already there to catch that market, by useing AmigaDE, Warp3D enginens

3 Gigabyte card, in testing batches are $2500 each.  They have not reached quantity release yet, and keep in mind that it's up to the device to support the card.

All current PDA's and digicams that I am aware of have anywhere between a 128mb and 1 Gigabyte limitation on card size.
