Head over to ZEE4.com for a short report on the Ottawa Amiga show this past weekend.ZEE4 (http://www.zee4.com)
-
This is probably the shortest show report ever :-D
-
I know, I figured the pictures told the story better than me going on about it. Expect a few better reports from some of the other people there later on.

ZEE4:
I hope you don't mind. I've copied the pictures from your show report and enhanced the screen area in various shots so it's easier to see. You can check out the results here (http://amigaone.homeip.net/mod.php?mod=gallery&op=gallery&gallery_id=2&album_id=5).

What was OS 4.0 like? I remember reading that 68k emulation is still being intergrated.. I guess the demo OS 4.0 wasnt able to run much?

@zee4
Tell us more about the show...was OS4beta running natively on A4000...etc.?
-
No problem with copying the photos, perhaps if you could add a mention like "photos used with permission, copyright 2002 Zoltan Hunt" or add a link to my report when you have time. Thanks.
That's open to anyone else who wants to re-post the photos too.
BTW: nice job on the enhancing, some of these where taken under less than ideal (read: didn't read the camara's manual) conditions :)

Sorry, the A4000T was as 68040 as far as I know.
As most of us know, OS4 was developed largely on 680xx Amigas- that's what was running on Saturday, but it looks like its just a case of re-compiling the parts for PowerPC.
Its still nice to try it out and find it was as responsive as I remember 3.1 being on my A1200. I've got to get me one of these :) It was certainly worth the trip for me.

Thanks, No problem, wil do...

Thanks, It's not what I'd like. Need to work on the design more. It's just something I put up quickly last spring when there was a dire need for mirrors to distribute the media files from AmiWest.
