Title: Test report includes Matrox in Dual-Head+ roundup
Post by: vortexau on November 08, 2002, 02:52:08 PM
The Tech Report includes Matrox's DualHead/TripleHead display capabilities (http://tech-report.com/reviews/2002q4/multimon/index.x?pg=3) in a report on multiple, or streached, desktops.

Its a pity that no AmigaOS 4.0 drivers appear to be available currently!

That might have something to do with the fact that OS4 doesn't appear to be available currently...

I find it amusing how "dual head" is considered new and nifty. Nearly all my Macs *used* two or more monitors on a daily basis:

MacSE
IIfx
Q950
PB520
7600
PowerCenter (clone)
Sawtooth
Pismo

The only Mac which didn't was a PB145

I mean WOOP DE DOOOOO!

Isn't next-gen matrox card listed in the "zico" spec on Amiga's web page?

Yes, especially when being able to run several monitor/mouse/keyboard combinations has been built into
"PC" processors since the 386.

Wow see my Multi-head Harris Mainframe! 255 displays
all working at once! I can send some text here.....
