Do you want to show people what an Amiga can do? Well, download TvPaint from www.amigaworld.org and start painting.
Our drawing competition category: HERO
Your picture must have something to do with something that you combine or see in theses HERO words. The best one will be used as AmigaWorld logo picture for 4 weeks.
Start drawing, and remember! Use your Amiga, its better than you think...

You forgot ""... :-D
Seriously, though, I see quite a few Braveheart-portraits coming your way...

TVPaint is one of the best Amiga programs for sure. I used it very much for my littlejedi.mpg video.
But one question:
Does anybody have / is there a Amiga-specific manual available somewhere for TVPaint? The one that came with the free version of TVPaint was windows-specific, so AREXX for instance was not covered.
Can anybody point to more TVPaint-Amiga related material?
Kind regards selco, http://selco.da.ru

I know this isnt really the same thing but I think its worth noteing that TVPaint/Aura have had another iteration stage and are now Mirage, It's not beyond reason that Bauhassoftware who makes Mirage wouldnt bring it to Pegasos, since thier already developing a Mac version!. I recently got Mirage 1.0 and its really spectaculer with the new stuff it has, full integrated particle system, lighting system, and awesome UI fixes (some other minor features aswell)

Amiga University (http://www.amigau.com/c-graphics/tvpaint.htm) Would be the one, but looks like its only in german? Yikes!

the PDF manual should be in our free download of TVPaint, which has been online since NewTek released it (even more blatant shameless plug :)
