What's being used now instead of Scala?

Well, my A600 still can't read it, then.
It would help to know what's being used instead of Scala. I prefer to be able to check compatibility with my system before writing out the cheque.
If the answer's right, I could even be one of the first A1 subscribers!

HTML, which makes it readable on just about anything.
...and neat it is too. It's such a relief not having to jump through hoops to be able to read it.
Why not buy a copy and see if you like it enough to subscribe?
BTW, mine arrived with a copy of Sixth Sense Investigations, which is cool as I didn't have that one.

It'll work on your A1, Rose.

I think they went for Mediapoint.

No, at least not yet. I don't think Mediapoint is RTG friendly yet, is it?
-
Just placed an order for a years sub!

No, at least not yet. I don't think Mediapoint is RTG friendly yet, is it?
It is ready or it is being worked on now.

@Coder
Worked on, I believe. I think we'd have seen the announcements had it been released.

I will ask Ron about it when he is back. I think he was on holiday this week.

I think they went for Mediapoint.
We decided not to go with Mediapoint for several reasons:
1) It is not yet RTG compatible and there has been no news of a release.
2) It is probable that the new version will not be released until after OS4 and we needed as a magazine to be ready now for when OS4/AmigaOne is released otherwise we felt we may be left behind.
3) Even when RTG compatible it does not address the fact that quite a few Amigans are now using Amithlon on a Windoze system and we wanted to reach as many Amigans as possible whatever system(s) they are using.
4) Will it work on AmigaOne? Don't know and therefore cannot wait to find out.
Oh and no we will not be making an A600 version, sorry

It'll work on your A1, Rose.
It'll work on my A1 AND my A600 (OK the graphics might look a bit grim on the A600).
Right, subscription time!
