Amiga Arena Fullversion of 'FileX'
With the permission from "Klass Hermanns",the Amiga Arena released the fullversion from the "FileX".
FileX is a binary file editor which offers the following features ....

- Several files can be modified in several windows and/or views at the same time.
- The edit windows can be opened on any public screen
- Clipboard converter
- Fontsensitivity
- Locale support
- Undo and Redo (only limited to your free memory)
- Search and replace with history
- Extensive blockfunctions
- ARexxport with 77 commands and asynchronical command shell
- Printing as hexdump
- 'Grab memory' to show and modify memory
- AppWindow.

Seems like a great app, except the rendering bugs with 15+ bit screens.
Also, the scrollbar extend over the size-gadget.
No big deal, you can still use it in <=8bit modes.

It is a great app. In my oppinion it is the best hex editor I've ever used. BTWl...I don't know what your problem might be on 16 bit screens.
I have been running it regularly for many years on an 1120x832 16bit custom P96 screen. It is perfect!
It might be a problem with some of your default fonts. I really don't know, but again I've used it
for years...registered actually, and it looks and functions perfectly on 16 bit screens here. :/

Doh...I forgot to menton, that it worked perfectly on
15bit screens when I was using CyberGFX as well.
Strange stuff...
