It was the other way around many people wanted it - OS4 running on Pegasos. MOS users will probably want to run MOS on a Pegasos.

Well, this is a good thing regardless. It adds choice and doesn't hurt sales of the A1. Unless someone takes it up as a "PR victory" - well, I hope anyone can see it isn't.

How come Thendic can get A1 wheres Hyperion was denied a pegasos although they ordered it months ago?

Just more crap from Bill Buck.

Hyperion never ordered a board. They only registered for the MorphOS developer program.

So what does that include?

@Elktro

Thendic don't have an A1 by Eyetech, but the new version of
the TeronCX by MAI, which happens to be the same board on the
HW-level.

Thendic/bPlan have been sending their selfdeveloped and
produced board to their partners (SW-developers) 1st, and now
Hyperion can have one to.

Don't see how this could be a problem since:

Hyperion are still working on putting together the basics,
and a Pegasos-port would have been done after they got a
working OS4 for the A1.

Hyperion (AInc) don't want to sell a Pegasos-version of OS4
until it has a licence that was known to be unacceptable for
for bPlan from the start.

As I allready said this "war" will be won over the OS and the
OS that reaches most costumers on the most HW will win in the ebd.

Part of me wishes for all these companies to go bankrupt maybe then they'll finally see how stupid they really are.

If you had a program which you wanted to develop
for MorphOS you could order a board (after you had
been accepted). Obviously Hyperion just
saw "Pegasos board order" but have overseen that
they would have to do a MorphOS program to get
one at that time.

Since the start of the Betatester program things
have changed. Now everybody (developers and
normal users) can order boards as much as they
want (and can pay for) :)

They would write OS4 for Pegasos, not an application for MorphOS.

Thats great news!

No need considering a Pegasos for trying out Morphos.

The AmigaOne is now a totally safeproduct to buy even if OS4 should not be available (but offcourse it will!!).

To me it seems much smarter to get an A1,  than buying a Pegasos. If Bplan/Morphos goes bankrupt (Like they did with P5), you might end up with a old version of Morphos (and Linux, but who wants that?) on the Pegasos..

The A1 will have both AmigaOS and Morphos/linux...Great! (And I will give Morphos a try!)...

Do you really think that with Thendic/Pretory on their
back, it's that easy to go bankrupt?
