http://www.amiga-anywhere.com/community/ (http://www.amiga-anywhere.com/community/) is now running votes on the Amiga Club / I Am Amiga new name and logo for the Tshirts.
-
Oh man.. Looking at the current results of the voting, maybe we should rather go back to the "I am Amiga" stuff.. Most suggestions are nice pictures, sure, but ON A T-SHIRT? Come on, who's going to wear this? "Boingedclub" would be good for a shirt, and also "The Amiga Vision" (not that I could answer the question "what does this chess thing stand for?") And what's the sense in voting seperately for logo and name?
Not trying to offend anyone, but it's just facts... :-o

No offense to the artist, but the "Boinged Club" logo (the digital guy with the checkmark) looks as though he has rainbow-colored flatulence. Strong enough to bounce him right along
:-)

I'm probably very childish, because that was what first crossed my mind as well. :)
Either that, or he gets it from behind by a trademark. How appropriate. ;)

I'd say the club should be named Amiga Sheep:-P Before you start booing me and throwing rotten fruit listen why.
1)Enbrace a term that people use against you. Think of Yankee Doodle:-)
2)Even the most hardened Amiga fanatic will joke they must be a little touched in the head for still having an interest in Amigas after all these years:-P
3)I cant think of any name that would be universally acceptable, so pick one that has some humor to it!

LOL! Yeah, he should've probably put the check mark more in line with the little guys feet, not his rear! "Ever been bounced out on your arse?"
Hey, why haven't some of the logos we saw posted here been added? And why can you not "submit" a name once logged in?

@dirigent
So if the current suggestions are so bad in your opinoin, have you submitted one that you think would be better? :-P :-D
At the end of the day, the only time these tee-shirts will see the light of day will be when people go to an Amiga show (or possably some home diy )

Does anyone know how long will people be able to submit their designs for the T-Shirt contest? what's the deadlines?
-
Please, Submit more designs....
Logo contest submission page. (http://www.amiga-anywhere.com/community/index.php?lc=1&ul=1)

Several choices so far. The more choices the better.
Did you guys submit those other great designs we were voting on at amiga.org not so very long ago?
IMHO, the artist who created the picture for the amiga.org logo (checkmark, red square, "A", boing ball) should submit it as well.

Well, if you voted on a club name and / or logo earlier but didn't really like any there you can go back and change your vote to one of the new submissions. It will subtract your original vote and add it to the new one.
There are several new club names added and new logo's today too.
