Title: RetroSystems changes focus - Sort Of
Post by: Erwin-K on August 16, 2002, 04:07:58 AM
RetroSystems' website has changed and expanded.

Kermit's original version told only of selling finished X86 based systems inside A1000, NES, & Atari 2600 cases.

Now do-it-yourself kits are for sale.

If they are willing to clean up and convert old computer cases, maybe I could get an old A3000D and convert that into a modern hardware system running Amithilon.  That would be pretty cool.  I have always liked the look of the A3000. Of course that requires Amithilon which isn't shipping.

I hope lots of people take advantage of Kermits Retro-Computer offers.  I thought it was such a great idea I suggested that he offer the kits.  I have two A1000's and plan on keeping one original and converting the other with a kit in the near future.  A 2ghz+, 120gb w/1gig RAM A1000 sounds great to me.
