I have A1260 but would like to upgrade to PPC but keep it in standard case. Somebody told me his 040 T/ERC produces more heat than my 060, so his Miggy is lifted up a lil and has no trapdoor cover. And 040 has also a fan. So if im gonna get BlizzardPPC with 060 then i dont have to lift it and add a fan etc? But BlizzardPPC with 040 requires it? Like i said, id like to have it still in keyboard case. Love that sexy tiny outfit on my gf:) I belive i should get a more powerful PSU too, than standard 1200 one? Or will A500 PSU do fine?

yes, the PPC can work in an A1200 desktop, but try to cool it. Add a fan inside it to let air flow to the accelerator, put something to avoid that the simms touch the metal of the keyboard, and use a PC PSU. An A500 one will not work or will burn in a hour. Get a PC PSU, they are cheap...

If you`re going to get a pc power supply,
might as well buy a full tower, and a hack-saw!
just fit the lot into the tower, it`ll take you an hour.
i`ve got some pictures on my site , of a standard
tower that i removed the back, ( turned it up-side down).
and tied the 1200 mobo still attached to it`s plastic base, into the tower, ( it`s tied there with ribbon!)
The 60 processor uses 3.3volts and runs a lot cooler than the 5v 040.
As for the PPC.... a fan is a must!
There are some really quiet fans on the market, And its worth getting the munition grade ones, as this will cut down on the running errors,( and increase cpu life...)
:-D

@blobrana
Can you supply a direct link to the miggy pictures page please? Your big Green Ball Java thing seems to hose my copy of IE, and I can't get past it :-(
- Jar.
