Visit this site where you should find plenty of information on the famous Scala multimedia authoring products for the Amiga. The site is still under construction, but nevertheless, an usefull one.

Using Infochannel Designer on Win32, I regularly visit scala forums. A user started last week a discussion about open-source. He wondered  if Scala could  release the sources of IPlay (the scala script player). The answer was direct : "no". And interesting : there is no plan to release Amiga sources. Good software even on old machines, no ? :)
